4 Rules On Building Confident Body
So why was I falling apart in my own bathroom?
Hey friend!
Few weeks ago, I was hiding in my bathroom doing squats while chaos erupted outside the door.
Pathetic? Maybe.
Here's what that bathroom breakdown taught me that changed everything.
I wasn't just avoiding the chaos.
I was avoiding myself.
The Brutal Truth:
For months, I'd been teaching women about body confidence while secretly feeling like a fraud in my own skin.
Every "failed" workout made me trust myself less.
Every skipped routine whispered "you can't keep promises."
So why was I falling apart in my own bathroom?
Because I was measuring confidence by all the wrong things.
Perfect form. Consistent schedules. Hour-long workouts.
And it was killing my self-trust.
In case you missed my confession earlier this week, I shared how those desperate bathroom squats became my breakthrough moment (and the mindset shift that saved my sanity).
I also discovered the psychological truth behind why tiny movements build massive confidence…
Because once you understand how self-trust actually works, you can easily take these principles and rebuild your relationship with your body.
(Instead of waiting for motivation or perfect conditions… which we all know never actually happen).
Here are the 4 rules that rebuilt my confidence:
Rule #1: Start Embarrassingly Small Not 20 squats. Three squats. Not perfect form. Any form. Just show up.
Rule #2: Stack It Onto Something Sacred Coffee time? Sacred. Coffee + squats = sacred promise kept.
Rule #3: Count Messy Reps Someone interrupting your push-ups? That counts. Phone calls mid-stretch? Still counts. Perfectionist brain says it doesn't? Screw perfectionist brain.
Rule #4: Celebrate Like You Won Olympic Gold Did one wall push-up? Victory dance. Feels silly? Good. Silly builds confidence faster than serious.
The Real Transformation: Six weeks later, I'm not hiding anymore.
I'm doing my moves openly, and people around me are taking notice.
The biggest change? I trust myself again.
Every squat is proof I keep promises to the person who matters most: me.
Whether you're starting your first move or feeling like a fraud like I was…
This will help you rebuild that self-trust.
Pick one rule and try it this weekend.
