For years I believed a workout needed the full production: cute set, proper shoes, timer, playlist. I kept waiting for the mood to hit. It rarely did. So I quit. A lot.

Then one morning, waiting on the kettle, I did a squat.
Not graceful. Not deep. Just… down and up.

The next day I did a few more.
Added arm circles while a show played.
A stretch by the sink.

Six weeks later, I carried every grocery bag in one trip and didn’t feel wrecked. No wheeze. No drama. I stood in the kitchen and laughed because it felt new and familiar at the same time like my body finally remembered me.

That’s when it clicked: the sessions I repeat aren’t fancy. They fit inside my real day. No ceremony. No permission. I can do them half-awake in slippers.
