Day 2: Eat to feel human

Yesterday we moved. Today we eat.

Not the “clean eating” Pinterest board version
the real-life, this-actually-fits-my-day version.

Years ago, I tried going full health influencer.
Prepped quinoa bowls. Drank green sludge. Measured almonds like they were precious gems.

By Thursday, I was grumpy, tired, and one TikTok away from inhaling a family-size bucket of KFC.

The problem wasn’t my willpower.
It was that I was feeding myself like I lived in a perfectly lit kitchen with zero kids, zero stress, and someone else doing the dishes.

Now? I stick to my anchor meals.
Ones I can make half-awake. Ones I actually like eating.
The kind that make my body say, “Oh hey, thanks,” instead of, “We riot at 3PM.”

Today’s Challenge: The 3-2-1 Plate
🟡 3 servings of fruit or veg (fresh, frozen, whatever works)
🟡 2 servings of protein (eggs, chicken, beef, chick peas, yogurt)
🟡 1 healthy fat (avocado, olive oil, nuts)

Build it your way. Add carbs if you want them. Season like you care about joy.
