Day 3: Reset your brain

Nobody warns you about this part of getting healthy:
If your head’s fried, your body’s not going anywhere.
I used to think I lacked discipline.
Turns out, I was just… cooked.
Not tired like “need a nap.”
Tired like “mentally stuck in traffic with no exit.”
One week, I was eating better and moving more, but my brain still felt like a junk drawer stuffed with receipts, tangled headphones, and mystery crumbs.
So I started giving myself five minutes.
Not to scroll.
Not to “catch up.”
Five minutes that looked completely unproductive
but somehow made me feel more like myself again.
Some days, it was drinking water outside while the kids played.
Other days, stretching in the hallway.
Once, just standing barefoot on the grass breathing like I meant it.
And it worked.
Workouts felt lighter.
I could think without fog.
I wasn’t walking into the kitchen and forgetting why.
Today’s Challenge: The Micro-Reset

🟡 Let that time be yours and yours alone
