feeling behind? read this
one tiny shift that made me feel like myself again
friend, yesterday I sat in the car for 11 extra minutes.
Engine off.
Shoes on.
But I couldn’t open the door.
Not because I was tired.
(I mean, I was.)
But because I didn’t feel like myself.
Everything felt off.
My energy. My clothes. My mood.
Like I was behind on everything—including my own body.
And that’s when I remembered something simple:
Motion shifts mood.
So instead of waiting to feel ready,
I got out, dropped my bag by the door, and did this:
💪 Back-to-Me Reset
(Under 10 min, no equipment)
30 squats
20 glute bridges
10 incline pushups (couch or counter)
1-minute wall sit
Repeat once if you’ve got it in you.
It didn’t fix everything.
But it reminded me I’m still in here.
Capable. Steady. Coming back.
Then I walked inside, made some food,
and chillax.
You don’t need to “get back on track.”
You just need a moment of connection.
