How to stay motivated when life won't cooperate.
Spoiler: motivation is not the answer.
Fit Fam!
Let's talk about motivation.
Specifically the fact that it is completely unreliable and we need to stop waiting for it like it's a bus that's coming.
Here's the truth nobody in the fitness industry wants to admit because it doesn't sell well.
Motivation is not what keeps you going. Motivation is what gets you started. It's the feeling you get after watching a transformation video or buying new workout clothes or starting fresh on a Monday. It feels incredible for about four days and then life happens and it vanishes without a single word of warning.
And then we think something is wrong with us.
Nothing is wrong with us. Motivation was just never designed to carry us all the way there.
Here's what actually works.
1. Make it smaller than your worst day
The version of your routine that survives a terrible week is the one that actually builds the habit. Not your best day routine. Your worst day routine. Ten minutes. Five squats. A walk around the block. Small enough that even exhausted you can say yes to it.
2. Attach it to something you already do
Before coffee. After school drop off. Before your shower. Stack your movement onto a habit that already exists and your brain stops treating it like a decision. It just becomes the next thing that happens.
3. Replace motivation with identity
Stop saying "I'm trying to work out more." Start saying "I'm someone who moves every day." It sounds small. It is not small. The way you talk about yourself shapes the choices you make. Motivated people quit. Women who have decided who they are keep going.
4. Track the streak not the scale
The scale is a liar and it is not your friend. Track how many days in a row you showed up instead. That number will motivate you more than any measurement because it belongs entirely to you.
Motivation will come and go for the rest of your life. Build a system that doesn't need it and you will never have to wait for it again.
That system is exactly what my 1:1 coaching builds for you. Personalized, practical, designed for your real life.
Reply "COACH" and let's build yours. 🔥
Love, Kai
P.S. Zero bubble baths mentioned in this email. Keeping the streak alive.
Never get asked "Finished already" ever again

No numbing creams. No sprays that kill the feeling for both of you. Just your brain and body working together for up to 36 hours.
Take it an hour before. Then stop watching the clock and start enjoying yourself.
