My blender and I are in a situationship.

Three coconut milk smoothies that are actually running my life right now.

Fit Fam!

Okay so your girl has been in the kitchen acting BRAND new and I need to talk about it.

2 weeks ago I became the proud owner of a Ninja Kitchen System and I want you to know that I have not been the same woman since. We're talking full personality shift. I am now the kind of person who wakes up excited about breakfast. I didn't know that was possible. I thought those people were made up.

And listen. I've been making coconut milk smoothies on repeat and I genuinely cannot stop. Won't stop. Don't want to stop.

For my Jamaican girls you already know coconuts are everywhere and they're affordable and making your own coconut milk from scratch hits completely different. There's something about knowing exactly what went into your body that makes the whole thing feel intentional. Like an act of self care and not just breakfast.

But if you're not in Jamaica or coconuts aren't your thing, any milk works. Oat milk. Almond milk. Regular milk. Zero judgment. The smoothie doesn't know the difference and neither do I.

Okay. Here are my top three. I make these weekly. My kids have opinions about all of them. I ignore the opinions and make them anyway.

🥥 Smoothie 1: The One That Started It All Coconut Mango Protein Smoothie

1 cup coconut milk 1 cup frozen mango 1 scoop vanilla protein powder ½ banana Handful of ice

Blend until smooth. Drink immediately. Try not to make sounds.

This one tastes like a vacation. I'm serious. I drink this and briefly forget I have responsibilities.

🥥 Smoothie 2: The One That Means Business Coconut Green Smoothie

1 cup coconut milk 1 handful spinach ½ frozen banana ½ cup pineapple 1 tbsp chia seeds Ice

I know. I know. Green smoothie. Bear with me. You cannot taste the spinach. I would not lie to you about something this important. This one keeps me full until noon which is genuinely miraculous.

🥥 Smoothie 3: The Dessert One I'm Pretending Is Healthy Coconut Chocolate Smoothie

1 cup coconut milk 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1 frozen banana 1 tbsp peanut butter 1 scoop chocolate protein powder Ice

This tastes like a chocolate milkshake. It is not a chocolate milkshake. It is breakfast. We don't question it. We just drink it and feel like we won something.

Now. About this Ninja.

I put off buying a good blender for two years. TWO YEARS of sad lumpy smoothies and excuses. And then I got the Ninja Kitchen System and genuinely felt like I had been living in the dark ages.

It blends everything smooth in seconds, comes with a to-go cup so I can blend and walk out the door, and the power on this thing is not normal. 1800 watts. My previous blender would have wept.

If you've been on the fence about upgrading your kitchen situation, this is your sign.

Your future smoothies will thank you.

See you Friday. 🥥🔥

Love, Kai

P.S. I made my coconut milk from scratch yesterday and stood in my kitchen feeling like an absolute domestic legend. It's the little things. It's always the little things.
