The dinner I make when my brain checks out

5 ingredients. 0 stress. 100% survival-mode approved.

In partnership with

Hey friend! Last night, I hit that wall.

You know the one…

Where your stomach’s screaming for food,
but your brain has officially left the building.

So what did I do?

I made my signature move:
The Bare Minimum Bowl.

It’s not sexy.
It’s not Insta-worthy.
But it slaps.

Here’s what I tossed in (aka: whatever was in reach):
✔ ½ cup leftover rice
✔ ½ can black beans (rinsed because I’m classy)
✔ Sliced cucumber + tomato
✔ Lime juice + salt (chef’s kiss)
✔ A lil’ sprinkle of cheese

Bonus: Avocado if in season.

It took me 5 minutes.
Didn’t require a single brain cell.
And somehow still felt like a hug in a bowl.

Let’s be real

Not every meal needs to be a macro-balanced masterpiece.
Sometimes, survival is success.

If you’ve got three things in your fridge,
you’ve got dinner.

And if you want more zero-effort, mom-approved,
“my kitchen is closed but I still need to eat” kind of meals…

Just reply “YES” and I’ll send you my Bare Minimum Dinner List.

Because feeding yourself shouldn’t feel like another full-time job.

Stay sane,
Kai 💛
