The “move first” method that saved my mornings

Let’s talk about mornings.

On Monday, I shared how grabbing my phone first thing was wrecking my energy.

Hijacked brain.
Hijacked mood.
Hijacked day.

So I changed one thing:

No phone until after I move.

And no I don’t mean a 45-minute HIIT class while the house is still dark.

I’m talking about 3 slow, grounding moves using a 5-litre bottle of sand.

Here’s the exact routine I use before the scroll starts:

  1. 10 slow squats

  2. 10 overhead presses

  3. 30-second bottle hold (hello, core)

Takes less than 5 minutes.
No gym. No mat. No noise.
Just a simple way to wake up your body before the world wakes up your brain.

Because here’s the truth:

You don’t need a perfect routine.
You just need a better rhythm.
