The woman who’s tired of starting over

You’re not behind you’re just rebuilding something honest.

friend!

A few weeks ago, I had a day.

Not a dramatic meltdown.
Not a social media-worthy spiral.

Just one of those quiet crashes…

Where the laundry stared at me.
The fridge was a war zone.
And my sports bra sat on the bed—waiting for a version of me I hadn’t seen in a while.

I felt heavy.
Not physically—emotionally.
The weight of “starting over” again.
Trying again.
Failing again.

And in that moment, I almost said forget it.

But instead I sat on the edge of the bed and did this:

The “Still In It” Reset

  • 20 squats

  • 15 glute bridges

  • 10 incline push-ups

  • 30s wall sit
(Repeat once if you’ve got the juice.)

Not a full routine.
Not a comeback.
Just one small choice that said:
“I’m still in it.”

And that changed something.

Because here’s what I’m learning:

You don’t have to “start over.”
You’re not back at square one.

You’re rebuilding.
And that’s brave.

You’re still showing up wobbly, tired, unsure.
And that counts.

So to the mom or just a regular girlie who’s holding it all together with one hand and reheating coffee/tea with the other?

I see you.
You’re not behind.
You’re becoming.

💛
Kai

P.S. What’s one small thing you did this week that reminded you you're still in it?
Reply and share it with me. I’ll celebrate it hard.
